Hytera Bridge: Seamless Integration for PoC and DMR Radio Systems
Hytera Bridge is a simple, reliable, and cost-effective Radio over IP (RoIP) gateway, enabling seamless communication between Hytera Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) radios and a range of DMR and analog radio systems. This solution allows organizations to expand their communication networks while preserving existing radio system investments.
With Hytera Bridge, Hytera PoC radios can connect to analog radios, Tier II DMR systems, DMR Tier III trunking networks, and Hytera XPT systems for group radio calls. This hybrid approach ensures nationwide PoC communication can be added to existing two-way radio systems, allowing teams to communicate across multiple platforms without replacing their current infrastructure.
By delivering low-latency communication between PoC and DMR radios, Hytera Bridge provides a flexible and scalable interconnect solution. Organizations can configure customized system connections to meet their specific needs, ensuring seamless, real-time communication across multiple sites and devices.
Hytera Bridge Functionality
For organizations that need to connect Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) and DMR radio networks, Hytera BRIDGE delivers a simple yet powerful solution. By using a dedicated hardware kit, Hytera BRIDGE enables two-way communication between an MNC360 PoC mobile radio and an HM782 DMR mobile radio, ensuring seamless interoperability across different radio technologies.
The MNC360 connects to Hytera PoC radios using LTE cellular or Wi-Fi, while the HM782 links to Hytera DMR radios and repeaters over UHF or VHF narrowband frequencies. This setup allows the HM782 to communicate with DMR radios either through a repeater base station or directly with individual DMR devices.
Beyond bridging PoC and DMR systems, Hytera BRIDGE also enables remote connectivity between two separate DMR radio networks over a PoC broadband connection. This expands communication reach for organizations operating across multiple sites, regions, or industries that rely on both wide-area broadband connectivity and traditional radio networks.
With Hytera BRIDGE, Alpha Prime Communications provides a cost-effective, flexible, and reliable solution for integrating PoC and DMR technologies, ensuring teams stay connected, regardless of their communication platform.
Benefits
Compact and Cost Effective
Hytera BRIDGE is a compact hardware configuration that can be installed in a data closet or radio equipment rack with a minimal footprint. Both mobile radios are powered by a one dual-output power supply.
Hytera BRIDGE provides a single-channel interconnect at a much lower price than other systems that require additional hardware or servers.
Preserves Existing Radio System Investments
Hytera BRIDGE provides a cost-effective method to add Hytera PoC radios with nationwide range to an existing DMR or Analog radio system.
Flexible System Interconnect
The Push-to-Talk over Cellular broadband internet access can be through an LTE cellular network using a SIM card in the MNC360 or through an existing Wi-Fi network. Narrowband connectivity to Hytera DMR systems, third-party DMR standard compliant systems, or analog radio systems is provided through the HM782 using UHF or VHF frequencies.
Hytera BRIDGE also provides connectivity between two remote radio networks over PoC internet access, and multiple Hytera BRIDGE systems can be deployed for additional channels.
