Built for Cross-Band Clarity
The Tait 9900 Series delivers true multiband flexibility—covering VHF, UHF, 700/800MHz, and 900MHz. That means your team stays connected, even when working with agencies on different bands. And since the bands aren’t locked, you can reconfigure whenever your mission changes.
Connectivity Without Limits
The Tait 9900 Series keeps you connected—now and into the future. Whether you are running analog systems or migrating to digital, these radios adapt to your environment.
Compatible with:
- Conventional analog
- P25 conventional and P25 trunking (Phase 1 & 2)
- DMR Tier 2 and Tier 3
Built-in GNSS comes standard in the TP9900 portable and is available for the TM9900 mobile. Both models work with a wide range of location tracking software.
The TP9900 supports Bluetooth® audio and Wi-Fi OTAP for fast, wireless programming. The TM9900 will soon add Bluetooth, Wi-Fi OTAP, and 4G LTE. All models support OTAP over P25 or DMR trunked networks using Tait EnableFleet.
You will also get full analog signaling support, including two-tone decode, MDC1200, CTCSS, DCS, and Selcall.
Why Choose Tait 9900 Series?
Interoperability You Can Trust
The Tait 9900 Series are built for seamless communication across P25 and DMR networks. Fully compliant with TIA-102 P25 and ETSI DMR standards, these radios let you switch between systems—just by changing the channel.
That kind of flexibility cuts down response time and keeps teams connected when it matters most, and especially during multi-agency operations.
Serious Capacity. Smarter Communication.
The Tait 9900 Series are built to handle complex voice and data needs without missing a beat. Powerful features designed to keep your team informed, organized, and ahead of the call:
- Up to 4,000 channels and 100 zones are available across P25 and DMR
- 1,000 P25 talk groups, supporting as many as 2,000 users
- 300 scan groups with up to 50 members each
- Pre-set status messaging for fast updates
- Full support for conventional and trunked IP data, plus P25 data like GNSS location tracking
Safety Features That Work as Hard as You Do
Every Tait 9900 radio includes built-in safety tools to protect your team in the field. Inactivity timers (Lone Worker) send automatic alerts, and a dedicated emergency key gives users a fast way to call for help.
The TP9900 also features Man Down detection with motion sensors that trigger alerts during a fall.
Add optional location tracking or Tait Geofencing, and you give dispatch real-time data to respond faster—and smarter—when seconds count.
End-to-End Encryption You Can Count On
Keep your communications locked down with advanced encryption built for critical operations. The Tait 9900 Series supports secure key management from dispatch to device:
- FIPS 140-2 certified encryption module
- AES, DES, and ARC4 algorithms
- Tait EnableProtect Advanced System Key
- Tait EnableProtect Key Fill Device
- Tait EnableProtect Key Management Facility
- Over-the-Air Rekeying (OTAR)
