Hytera DMR Repeaters
Why Tier II digital repeaters matter
A Tier II digital repeater is the “middle point” that receives a call from your portable or mobile unit, then retransmits it with greater reach. This helps when walls, steel, long hallways, and terrain cause dead zones. It is a common step when a team needs a clean voice across a campus, a multi-story site, or a group of buildings.
Tier II also uses TDMA, which supports two voice paths on a single channel. That can help busy crews reduce wait time during peak work hours.
HR652 for tight spaces and flexible installs
The HR652 is built for locations with limited rack space, while still helping extend coverage across campuses and tall buildings. It includes an optional battery for backup power or portable use.
In terms of performance, Hytera repeaters offer strong receive sensitivity and 25-watt output power to increase effective range. It can also operate as a single-frequency repeater in Direct Mode, using both time slots to receive and forward calls on a single frequency.
For growth, it supports IP Connect and SmartOne dispatch connectivity.
HR1062 for higher output and advanced connectivity
The HR1062 is a 1U Tier II digital model designed for professional deployments that require robust networking and clear audio. It supports connectivity to SIP and VoIP phone systems, dispatch platforms, and Tier II plus XPT trunking systems. It also lists AC and DC inputs with auto switching, AI-based noise cancellation, and support for two simultaneous voice paths in digital mode.
Alpha Prime supports Hytera repeaters planning, selection, and quoting for the HR652 and HR1062, based on your site layout and coverage goals. Contact us today.
