IP54 dust and water-resistant design guarantee reliability in different environments. Based on TDMA technology, the radio can work up to 22 hours in digital mode.

  • Analog & Digital Dual Modes
    The BD552i supports both analog and digital modes on the same radio. You can switch between both operation modes smoothly, which helps you to communicate with analog radios.
  • Analog & Digital Auto Detect
    The BD552i can detect the signal type when receiving a call and then automatically switches between analog mode and digital mode to receive either analog or digital calls. During the call hang time, the user can reply by using the push-to-talk button. This is smooth migration technology, from analog to digital.
  • Long Operating Time
    Based on TDMA technology, the BD552i in digital mode can work up to 16 hours with the standard battery or 22 hours with the optional extended capacity battery in 5-5-90 mode.
